The Foundation T measurements

All measurements are in inches, taken flat against the garment. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a relaxed fit or staying true to size for the structured silhouette the Foundation T is designed for.

Chest is measured 1" below the armhole, across the garment flat. Length is measured from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem. Sleeve is measured from the shoulder seam to the cuff.

How to measure yourself

• Chest: Wrap a tape measure around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms, keeping it level.
• Length: Measure from the top of your shoulder, next to the base of your neck, down to where you'd like the shirt to end.
• Sleeve: Measure from the top of your shoulder to where you'd like the sleeve to end.

Compare your measurements to the chart above — if you land between two sizes, size up for extra room.

Fabric & fit notes

The Foundation T is knit from 230 GSM GOTS-certified organic cotton at our own mill in Punjab, and is cut for a structured, slightly boxy silhouette rather than a slim fit. Expect the fabric to soften and gain character with washing, along with slight shrinkage on the first wash — this is accounted for in the specs above.
