Supply Chain Transparency
Lab reports & certifications.
Estrah does not make sustainability claims without substantiation. Every certification below is independently third-party audited and publicly verifiable. Every fabric test listed here is pulled from our actual production documentation. Ask for the full scope certificate at any time: transparency@estrah.com
Certification Scope Documents
GOTS — Global Organic Textile Standard
Full chain-of-custody: farming → spinning → knitting → dyeing → cut & sew
The most rigorous global standard for organic textiles. Covers chemical inputs, worker welfare, environmental criteria, and traceability throughout the entire supply chain.
OCS — Organic Content Standard
100% organic fiber content verification from bale to finished garment
Independently verifies that the organic raw material claim (100% organic cotton) is traceable and accurate from farm origin through to the point of sale.
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100
All fabric components tested for harmful substances including pesticide residue, heavy metals, formaldehyde, and pH
Every yarn, button, label and seam thread is independently tested for over 100 substances harmful to health. Class I certification is the highest tier — suitable for products in direct contact with infant skin.
BSCI — Business Social Compliance Initiative
Social compliance audit of labour conditions, wages, working hours, safety and freedom of association
Independent audit of all social compliance metrics at our production facility. No forced or child labour. Living wage compliance. Safe working environment verified on-site.
Sedex SMETA
4-Pillar audit: Labour, Health & Safety, Environment, Business Ethics
The Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit covers all four pillars: working conditions, health and safety practices, environmental standards, and business ethics. Published in the Sedex platform.
Fabric Testing Parameters
Independent lab results from our latest production batch — 300 GSM interlock jersey, T32 standard.
| Test | Method | Result | Status | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fabric Weight (GSM) | ISO 3801 | 300 ± 5 g/m² | Pass | Tested at standard atmospheric conditions (20°C, 65% RH) |
| Fabric Weight — Loopback | ISO 3801 | 400 ± 8 g/m² | Pass | Crewneck loopback fleece batch result |
| Colour Fastness to Washing | ISO 105-C06 | Grade 4–5 | Pass | Reactive dye lots — tested at 40°C, 5 cycles |
| Colour Fastness to Rubbing | ISO 105-X12 | Dry: 4–5 · Wet: 3–4 | Pass | Dark colourways (Graphite) tested separately |
| Pilling Resistance | ISO 12945-2 | Grade 4 | Pass | Martindale method — 2,000 cycles |
| Tensile Strength — Warpwise | ISO 13934-1 | 650 N | Pass | Minimum requirement 400 N — exceeded by 62% |
| Tear Strength | ISO 13937-2 | 45 N | Pass | Elmendorf method — consistent across all colour lots |
| Dimensional Stability (Wash) | ISO 5077 / ISO 6330 | −3% to −5% | Expected | This is the natural adjustment of unbleached organic cotton. Disclosed proactively. Not a defect. |
| Formaldehyde Content | ISO 14184-1 | < 16 mg/kg | Pass | OEKO-TEX Class I limit: 20 mg/kg — well within threshold |
| pH Value | ISO 3071 | 6.8 | Pass | Neutral pH — skin-safe for all garment types |
